Norb Blei reading Meditations on a Small Lake
Door County Icon Norb Blei has come out with a third edition of his 1987 Door County classic Meditations on a Small Lake. In June, Pastor Michael Brecke of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church convinced him to perform selected readings from the book. The result was a packed house and Blei at his fesity best. Listen in.
To order Meditations on a Small Lake and other books published by Cross+Roads Press visit BleiDoorCountyTimes.com.

Please note: Maybe it’s because he is not used to being at a church podium, but Norb did a bit of fidgeting during the readings, causing some background noise. Ignore it and listen in on Door County’s poet laureate.
