A Conversation with Door County’s own Miss Wisconsin, Kimberly Sawyer

Barbara Luhring has known Kimberly Sawyer for most of her life and during that time Kimberly has always been a star. A star athlete (3 sport letter winner at Gibraltar High School), a star performer in plays and in choir as well as a star student. On January 15 of next year she will have the chance to shine yet again as she competes in the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas as Door County’s own Miss Wisconsin. Barbara talks with Kimberly about the experience and about the benefit show she is putting on at the Door Community Auditorium on Saturday, December 18 with a cast of many. The show will benefit all the non-profit groups that helped her get where she is today. Listen in!
